Searching for a home remedy to reduce my stretch marks, I gladly found one which I think is easy to make; a combination of aloe vera, Vitamin A and Vitamin E. But I had a hard time finding an aloe vera extract, essence or gel.
Then I came across this online shop that vloggers and bloggers love, found and grabbed one immediately. It’s not 92 nor 99 but it’s 100% and it’s cheaper than the other shop I know, only Php 350.
I love the product, it smells really good for a 100% aloe vera gel (some aloe vera products are stinky) and it does a lot of things. But there is just one thing I find disturbing, its container. It’s more prone to bacterial growth since it has a direct contact with our hands so I’d prefer a pump or a squeeze bottle for this product.

5 USES OF ALOE VERA GEL
Here are few of many uses of aloe vera which I did with my Esfolio Aloe Vera Soothing Gel
1. As a facial moisturizer
After I take a bath, I apply it on my face as an initial moisturizer before I put a moisturizer cream. It makes me feel refreshed and gives my skin a glowing appearance. It soothes, hydrates, and nourishes my skin. The auxin and gibberellins are plant hormones found within an aloe vera. They aid in wound healing , anti-inflammation and forming new cells that can get rid of your pimples and other facial skin problems.
2. As a hair conditioner
We all know that aloe vera has been a very good hair-friend to us and we inherited it from our grandmothers. With no added chemicals (that sticky extract directly from the plant itself), they use it to let their hairs grow faster and a secret to their glossy, natural and black hair which has been passed from generation to generation.
3. As a hair gel for kids
My husband’s hair gel wouldn’t be a good match to my toddler’s young hair since it contains chemicals that could ruin the natural oil and appearance of my son’s hair. So having an aloe vera gel as an alternative is a perfect fit plus it has conditioning effect that makes his hair more nouriched.
4. As a soothing gel for insect bites
Since it has a cooling effect, I use it for my son’s insect bites and I’m glad it stops him from scratching. Another good thing is that it reduces skin inflammation and helps in cell regeneration from the crust formed when it becomes a wound.
5. As a stretch marks remover
Since it has a coenzyme Q10 essence which helps in skin tightening, I also use it for my tiger stripes or the so-called stretch marks. Added with Vitamin E, it will really help me minimize (for now) my strecth marks and hopefully, get rid of them permanently.
